Strong, Sexy Back

OK I am 12 weeks out from my 28th birthday (EEEEK)  and I have a long list of goals that I want to accomplish!  I figured what better way to keep myself accountable than to post them here for all to see!

First and foremost I WILL complete my thesis!! But that is non-workout related.

1.  Complete a second round of T25!

2.  Achieve a new half marathon PR

3.  I have always wanted a sculpted back and shoulders.  So I have started a pull-up challenge for myself.  I will do 5 unassisted pullups by August 13th!

Harpoon Brewery 5 Miler

This run was AWESOME!!!!  I had such a blast, couldn't have asked for a nicer morning and there was beer and  hot dogs waiting at the finish line.. what more could I want?!  I am disappointed that it is a lottery registration, because I would run this every year if I could!

I ran a PR pace of 9:44 min/mile which is SO SO awesome :)  I was thrilled.  I was aiming for anything under 10:30min/mile.

I am so excited for the change in my body especially my running endurance and strength.  This is going to be a great season, I can feel it!!

Pre-race selfie... ready to go!
Got my Shwings!!

Crossed the finish line with a new killer PR!!!

Lunch of Champions :)
So thankful to my mom and Randy for coming up with me :)

Woop woooop! The T25 results are IN and they don't lie!

I've lost 12 pounds and 9.5 inches, and gained a confidence in myself that I had definitely lost somewhere along the way.  Not to mention I became a permanent believer in Shaun T and member of the BeachBody family.

It took me quite a bit longer to complete the program than it should have (about 16 weeks instead of 10) but I was certain to complete every single workout along the way!  I even added some in haha

While I am ecstatic with my results, I am also determined to make as big of an improvement the next round!!

One of the best parts is that I absolutely love being a coach with BeachBody, being able to help others achieve their goals the way that I have.  Fitness is an ongoing process, and you don't have to go through it alone!

If you have any interest in the programs, let me know!  You can send me an email at or visit

End of April - early May runs

So I have been bad about posting my runs.. but I swear I have been doing them! haha

My goal for the 5 miler this coming weekend is a 10:30 pace.  I think I can do it!

I went to the New Balance store yesterday on Boylston Street in Boston to pick up my race packet and I was in there just long enough to spot these babies!  If anyone wants to send them my way, I am a size 7 ;)
Gimmie gimmie gimmie

Track my number, or better yet, come out to Boston in Sunday and cheer me on, then go get some beer!! I know I will be :)

Mother's Day 5k

On Sunday I completed a 5K with my mom and sister!

It was HOT!  The hottest day of the year so far... even got a bit of a sunburn on one of my arms!

We did a run/walk combination for an official time of 34:43 :)

Pre-Race... still feeling confident!

Post run - A bit redder but still had a ton of fun!!

It was so nice, we spent some of our afternoon at the beach! :)
App was super cooky with the GPS, but it still did the trick!

Now on to Sunday!! :)
